Charlie Litton (Kitchen Layout Design)

Charlie Litton - Kitchen Layout Designer - West Michigan Kitchens and Interiors Charlie Litton was born and raised in Iowa, along the Mississipi River. Charlie enjoys telling the story of how, while still in Middle school, his counselor suggested he take a drafting class as an elective. Not at all confident he wanted to do that, he still took the advice of parents and counselor. He fell in love with drafting, design, how things work, and are made. His first drafting job, while still in high school was at a local furniture company. Charlie fell in love again - this time with wood and wood manufacturing.

Now on his way to a career he was offered a job as an Engineer at Stow-Davis Furniture. Just four years after High School Charlie moved to Michigan and met a wonderful Western Michigan girl, married, built a home and started a family. Charlie obtained his Associates Degree at the age of 47 and has become a true local resident of Byron Center, MI.

Charlie takes great pride in his long and varied history in the field of engineering and wood furniture design. Charlie has in-depth, hand-on experiences and background in office furniture, residential furniture, grand father clocks, tables, seating products and now for the past 10 years, kitchen cabinet manufacturing and design.

Charlie very much enjoys his career as kitchen designer at West Michigan Kitchens and Interiors. He enjoys making a kitchen layout that best utilizes spaces available, while meeting the customer's wishes along with staying within a budget.
